RIDER BIOMECHANICS
Rider biomechanics is where we look at the make-up and movement of the rider and how it affects our horses way of going.

The mechanical horse is a great tool for any rider, from novice to advanced level. It is a great way to look at us as a rider without the influence of a real horse. We can look at rider position and straightness and work on areas of our riding in a controlled and safe environment. Sessions involve analysis and exercises to help improve your position and can be private or group sessions. These Sessions are held at Writtle College, Equine Unit on MJ the dressage simulator.

OPTIONS

45 Minute Session - This session allows us to learn how to use the mechanical horse anyhow it works. This is then followed by a full body position analysis and body awareness exercises. And finishes with some specific exercises for improvement of your ridden position. Focusing specifically on you and your needs as a rider.

Group Session - These sessions are 45 minutes per rider.

4 Week Course - This is a 4 week course will include a full position assessment session, a session on flexibility and mobility, a core strength and balance session, and a specific to you position focus session. Throughout the whole four weeks we will work on specific exercises to help improve any weakness or wonkiness. And you will go home with a range of exercises to add to your tool box, including printed stretch and exercise sheets.

Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If payment is not secured I can only hold the reserved space for 24 hours.
